FA Cup Final, Wembley May 2013:
"Both teams march out ready for battle, one in red and one in blue. South American and Southern European multi-millionaire soccer players from both teams cross themselves and look to the sky for assistance from their gods.
A TV reporter observes the ceremony and before the teams cross the white line he rushes over for an interview from 2 players, one in red, the other his opponent in blue, here their answers:
"Miguel, which god to you believe in?"
Answer; "I believe in a Catholic god, Jesus Christ and Mother Mary"
Reporter turns to Jose:
"Jose, which god do you believe in?"
Answer; "I believe in a Catholic god, Jesus Christ and mother Mary"
Interviewer confused; "but guys it is the same god and you both believe this same god will give you strength to beat your opponent, how can the same god challenge himself?"
Answers from both players: "I don't know ask him, but my god will give me strength to beat him yo se!"
TV interviewer; "guys, but it is the same god, how can he battle against himself?"
Answer from both; "yo no se!"
The game approaches the final minute and Miguel dressed in red scores the winning goal, looks to the heavens and thank his god for letting him win; the very same god that Jose believes in.
TV interviewer rushes to Miguel after final whistle and asks; "how could the same god give you the strength to score the winning goal and let Jose down, it is impossible because both of you believe in the same god?"
Answer from Miguel: "Yo no se and I don't care as long as my god helped me win and assure my bonus!"
Answer from Jose on his knees crying: "yo no se he saw only red maybe!"
Very confused TV interviewer; "but guys it is the very same god so how can he see red and not blue because he looks through the same eyes?"
The morals of this story are;
1) God always works in very mysterious ways even if opponents believe in the very same god!
2) Hypocrites are in abundance all over the planet especially religious ones!
