Every Christmas season the various television networks dish out their banquet of Christmas-themed specials.

Some of the all-time favorite annual Christmas shows of years gone by included those by Andy Williams, Perry Como, Bob Hope, and The Three Stooges.

Back in the 60s and 70s most of the television holiday sets consisted of some Christmas trees, some lights, Christmas ornaments, tons of fake snow, cardboard cut-outs of reindeer, dwarf elves, and Styrofoam snowmen.

Today's Christmas specials include real trees, real reindeer, real snow, and real elves.
