BEVERLY HILLS - The man behind the new show X-Factor, Simon Cowell recently threw a party at his mansion Casa La T-Shirt, on September 7, in honor of one of his all-time favorite music legends Buddy Holly.
Cowell and his fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy invited just a few close friends including Paula "Munchkin" Abdul, Ryan "Peaches" Seacrest, Julianne "Mmmm-Mmmm" Hough, Steven "Lips" Tyler, Kate "the Great" Gosselin, and Los Angeles Lakers star Ron Artest who is now known as "Metta World Peace."
Also invited were Brad "Snake" Pitt and Angelina "Inky" Jolie who said that they could not make it because all of their half dozen kids had the measles and daughter Shiloh also had somehow managed to get a tumbleweed infection on her right earlobe.
Lady Gaga was originally going to attend but when Simon told her that he did not want her showing up dressed as an ostrich egg, a Filet Mignon, or a Seven Layer Taco Supreme she got her feelings hurt and decided not to show up.
Joan "The Moan" Rivers also cancelled when she found out that Ron Artest was going to be there.
A gay spokesperson for Rivers remarked that the 93-year-old former funny lady backed out because of remarks that Mr. Artest had made last year to CNN's Anderson Cooper.
It seems that "The Bad Boy of The Court" had told Cooper that there wasn't a single player in the entire NBA who scared him.
He then grinned and added that there is one person who does scare him and it's the old space alien looking cracker bitch Joan Rivers who he confessed gives him some horrendously scary ass nightmares.
Two of Cowell's favorite people Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, stars of The Vampire Diaries TV series did show up a little late. Photos that later appeared on YouTube showed why Nina and Ian had been late walking into the mansion.
Both were photographed by Ian's chauffeur planking on top of the hood of Simon's $1 million Bugatti Veyron. Ian apologized to Cowell and said that the reason they had done it was to win a $1,000 bet from fellow Vampire Diaries cast mate Paul Wesley.
"The Sultan of Sarcasm" told Ian and Nina that he would forgive then if they gave him half of the $1,000 which they agreed to do.
In other news. Bedroom Pillow Talk reports that singer Taylor Momsen has said that if people do not stop saying that she looks like a raccoon that she will quit the music business. Fellow singer Ke$ha upon hearing Momsen's comment remarked that Momsen looks like a raccoon! a raccoon! a raccoon!
