VENICE BEACH - Demi Lovato spent the day after her 19th birthday walking quietly along the shore at Venice Beach in a bathing suit she had received as a birthday present from her two best friends Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber.
Lovato, who spent three months at The Henry and Betty Ford Rehab Clinic last year, stated that she is tired of hanging around her house and watching Nick at Nite reruns of That '70s Show and is now ready to get back to performing.
She pointed out that she has not been on a stage in over a year. She remarked that she was concerned at the fact that she had gained some weight so she has been running seven miles on the beach every morning.
Demi proudly boasted to Left Coast Mirror Magazine's Bijou Silhouette that she has lost the three pounds she told herself she needed to lose.
Lovato said that she has received some very nice emails and text messages from several of the staff members at The Henry and Betty Ford Rehab Clinic.
She said that the clinic Director Cayenne Gayla Wheatgrass, 76, wrote her a very nice letter and told her how proud she at the fact that she is no longer anorexic, bulimic, and that she has finally been cured of her underwear phobia of thinking that people were trying to steal her underwear to sell them on eBay.
Another rehab clinic staff member Enzo Rudolphowitz, the rehab clinic's custodian, emailed her and asked her if he could have an autographed copy of her next CD plus he asked her if she could lend him $8,000.
Lovato is scheduled to perform three concert dates in September. She will perform at The Box of Snowballs Auditorium in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She will then fly over to Waterloo, Iowa, where she will perform at The Crop Rotation Convention Center, and then she will close out her three-city tour at The Mashed Potatoes Arena in Boise, Idaho.
Demi's opening act was to have been Kings of Leon, but due to their alleged involvement in the infamous Gibson Guitar Pick Scandal they had to withdraw and have now been replaced by Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz.
