Willie Nelson's cousin is even being considered for a cameo

Hollywood icon and polished sex symbol Megan Fox has reportedly been offered a 6 figure deal to star in The Sound of Music remake.

Executives were said to have been so impressed with a recent flip video home movie in which Fox sang a rendition of Do Rae Me. Onlookers including Charlie Sheen and Michael Bay were said to be raving in awe of the performance.

Spike Jones is being touted for the directors chair. He said of Fox," She has the complete package. She offers an evanescent Avant Garde which no other living actress can bring."

Fox often compares herself to the original actress. It is beloved that she even modeled her performance in Transformers on Andrews herself.

The movie is slated for a December 2012 release, to coincide with the Academy Awards season.

Fox is said to be so obsessed with her role that she is employing several method acting techniques. She was nearly arrested at a Walmart in Southbend, Indiana after forcing a young child to sing an ABC song.

She was recently spotted buying a copy of Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.

She further added that The X Factor US is her number 1 show on her DVR.

La Reid is even considering a cameo, the only stipulation being that he not appear in the same scene as Fox

Fox further that she hopes to add a modern day feel by including a collection of her favorite Roxette songs.

Rumors that she knows how to play the piano have been strongly denied by producers.
