LOS ANGELES - Demi Lovato says that she has not been as happy as she is right now since the day she left The Henry and Betty Ford Rehab Clinic after a three month stay last year.
The songstress told Margarita Mixx of The Tinsel Town Times Tribune that she is so excited that she finds herself whistling songs by former boy bands 'NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and New Kids On The Block at all hours of the day.
She giggled and said that the other day as she was standing in line at a Walmart she did not realize it but she was actually singing the words to "Bye Bye Bye" by "NSYNC.
Demi said that after she finished singing the song everyone who was standing in line behind her and in the adjoining cash register lanes exploded in a thunderous applause and started hollering out "Demi! Demi! Demi!"
She thanked everyone and after signing 62 autographs left the store.
Mixx asked her about her new upcoming single. Lovato brimmed with pride as she said that she is very proud of her song titled "Skyscraper."
She said that she co-wrote it with Kara DioGuardi, former American Idol judge who got fired two years ago when she asked for a tremendous raise.
Lovato said that originally she was to have corroborated with Christina Aguilera but she was unavailable since she was participating in some brand new television singing show.
Mixx asked her the significance of the songs name. Lovato smiled and told her that the name came from the dictionary and was actually Kara's idea. At first they were going to call the song "Sky Writer" after the pilots who write words and phrases with their planes.
But they soon learned that there was already a song with that name by the very popular Saudi Arabian hip hop rap band Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz are the favorite band of President and Mrs. Obama and the "first kiddoes" Malia and Sasha.]
So since the name was already taken DioGuradi again logged on to a dictionary site and picked out three names that began with the word sky; "Sky Rocket," "Sky Walker," and "Skyscraper."
Lovato said that her and Kara could not decide on which name to pick so they did the old Rock-Paper-Scissors game and "Skyscraper" won.
There is nothing in writing as of yet, but there is a strong possibility that Demi Lovato could hire Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz to be her opening act on her upcoming Demi Lovato's Cheerful Cross Country Concert Tour.
