LOS ANGELES - Shia LaBeouf one of the stars of the movie The Transformers: Dark Side of The Moon recently provided some behind-the-scenes information.
The 25-year-old star who portrays Sam Witwicky spoke with Tequila Tallyho of Left Coast Mirror Magazine and revealed to her a little known fact.
LaBeouf said that he hates to say it but the movie set was jinxed. He remarked that once Megan Fox was fired for making dozens of Nazi knock-knock jokes things changed a little bit.
Shia hesitated using the word voodoo but the implication was there. He did reveal that one of the stunt men had told him in confidence that Fox had remarked that she was going to make a doll of her replacement and stick pins in it ala Louisiana bayou voodoo rituals which include the evil casting of spells through black magic candles and hoodoo ju ju beads.
Rosie Huntington Whiteley, who replaced Megan Fox in the role of Carly Miller, says that she is not afraid of any Louisiana bayou voodoo rituals and added that the outbreak of hives which completely covered her cleavage region was a direct result of her having eaten too many Skittles.
Meanwhile film co-star Josh Duhamel who portrays Lt. Colonel William Lennox, said that he does believe in voodoo and saw it first hand when he filmed the movies New York, I Love You and its sequel Boston, I Hate You.
The 38-year-old star said that he had made an unkind remark about an elderly female Creole extra who lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana and the next thing he knew all four of is wisdom teeth suddenly turned deep purple.
Josh said that it took about six visits to his dentist, and $2,700 before the problem was fixed.
But the real stars of the film are of course the Transformers, Autobots Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Ratchet, Ironhide, and their leader Optimus Prime Rib and as Transformer experts will tell you there is no way in the world that even the strongest voodoo magic could ever affect a Transformer.
LaBeouf told Miss Tallyho that the motion picture will be introducing two new villains Sir Shockwave ruler of Cybertron and Queen Aftershock the extremely foul-mouthed mistress of Sir Shockwave.
Duhamel did want to stress that the rumor that during one of the scenes an assistant director's boxer shorts suddenly and for no apparent reason caught fire are false.
He added that yes there was a bit of smoke emanating from the AD's crotch region but there was at no time ever any actual fire per se.
The Transformers: Dark Side of The Moon was shot in 4D and will be available in Smell-O-Vision in select theaters west of the Mississippi River.
