image for Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley Talk Openly About The Upcoming Season Of 'The Vampire Diaries'
Nina Dobrev as she appeared in a dream sequence on last season's Vampire Diaries.

BEVERLY HILLS - The three stars of the hit television show The Vampire Diaries recently met for dinner at the trendy Cafe La French Fry in Beverly Hills.

The young trio of actors spoke openly with Pico de Gallo of Tittle Tattle Tonight.

They were thrilled to say that they have all been signed by the shows producer Manolo Middlezuck to appear in the shows third season.

De Gallo asked the three how the show has changed their lives. Somerhalder smiled and said that the last time that he was in his hometown of Covington, Louisiana he was told by the mayor that the city council has passed a resolution by a vote of 5 to 4 to rename the town's high school from General Stonewall Jackson High School to Ian Somerhalder High School.

Ian said that he will fly in for the name-changing ceremonies, which will take place in the middle of summer on July 23, which ironically happens to be National Is It Hot Enough For Ya Day?

Nina said that the way The Vampire Dairies has changed her life is that whenever she goes to McDonald's she no longer has to stand in line.

She blushed and said that now the restaurant manager will just motion for her to go straight to the kitchen and tell the employees exactly what she wants.

She said that it has really cut down tremendously on her waiting time.

Dobrev also expressed joy at the fact that most department stores when they realize who she is will give her up to a 90 percent discount on all of her cosmetics including personal hygiene products.

Meanwhile Paul said that the huge amount of money that he receives from appearing on the show has helped him to donate more money to his personal cause which is buying baby pet turtles for the underprivileged children of California and parts of Nevada.

De Gallo asked what the viewers can expect for the upcoming season. Nina said that she did not want to give away too many secrets but did add that the shows producer has said that the show is a big hit with the teen segment and he hopes to attract some of the older viewers by booking older guest stars such as Betty White, Don Rickles, Barbara Walters, Clint Eastwood, Cher, and Madonna.

Ian, also noted that the town of Mystic Falls, Virginia is in for some mighty powerful weather problems including a hailstorm with hail the size of basketballs, a heat wave where the temperature will hit 117 degrees, and two major 5 category hurricanes, one beginning with the letter F and the other beginning with the letter P.

SIDENOTE: Paul Wesley recently completed filming the sequel to his 2009 movie Beneath The Blue. The film will have an X-rating due to a rather disturbing scene between a male jackrabbit and a female monkey. The movie was filmed on location in Mexicali, Mexico and is titled Above The Red.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
