It's just been confirmed that Rupert Grint, who played the part of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise is still ginger.
It was widely reported in certain unscrupulous circles that Grint is not as ginger as he used to be, but sources close to the star have angrily refuted such claims, and say that if anything, Rupert Grint is more ginger than ever, which seemingly came about when he started to grow a beard and moustache.
Rupert Grint is considerably more ginger than many other famous ginger people, but not quite as ginger as others.
Closer scrutiny reveals that Rupert Grint could avoid being as ginger as he currently is, by dyeing his hair black, or brown, or blonde, or even green, but insiders report that Rupert is unlikely to follow this route, as he quite likes being ginger, and that his ginger hair has become quite iconic and somewhat synonymous with the young star.
Rupert Grint is about 23 years of age and was once almost drowned by Rab C Nesbitt in the British comedy film 'Wild Target' which also starred Emily Blunt and Bill Nighy. Ardent ginger watchers who have seen the film say that Rupert Grint's hair doesn't look quite as ginger when it's wet.
The film's producers were anxious to point out that Emily Blunt - who is not ginger - is not a compulsive thief in real life, adding that Bill Nighy isn't a real hitman either.
More as we get it.
