Twilight and Water For Elephants star, Robert Pattinson allegedly admitted in an off guard moment that he would almost certainly be willing to buy sultrily sexy Vampire Diaries star, Nina Dobrev, a cheeseburger, and perhaps a coffee too.
Pattinson's off the cuff remark sparked wild speculation among the milling press pack that maybe Pattinson has a little something going on in his subconscious concerning Dobrev, and further, that maybe there's a budding romance on the cards.
Insiders close to the London born star were quick to dispel such a ridiculous idea.
"He said he'd be prepared to buy Nina a cheeseburger and maybe a coffee," one said. "That's just the kind of guy he is. Generous to a fault. It's a perfectly innocent remark from one thespian, directed towards another, out of respect for their mutual profession. It's just how actors do things. Jeeze! What's wrong with you people? You must be sick in the head, going around making mountains out of damned molehills. Gimme a break willya!"
At the time of going to press, it isn't yet clear how Kristen Stewart reacted to the latest revelation, although rumour has it that she wasn't too happy about the degree of intimacy displayed between Robert, Reese Witherspoon and Tai the elephant in the recent movie release "Electric Cattle Prods, Hooks, Animal Cruelty And Water For Elephants."
Skoob Entertainment News reporter, Reddon, commented:
"Frankly, I don't give a toss either way. I thought we'd left all this crap a long away behind us and moved on to cover more excitingly aesthetic topics like goldfish, baked beans and socks. You never know with that Skoob. Changes like the wind he does. If you ask me, he's a bit wrong in the head."
Which is obviously just a case of sour grapes on Reddon's part because SEN has just officially fired him. He may be interested to learn that his P45 is in the post.
More as we get it.
