LONDON - As April 29 fast approaches the final preparations for the Royal Wedding are being tended to. The security at Westminster Abbey will be the heaviest it has ever been.
The Bees Knees News Agency is reporting that Scotland Yard is even bringing in some of its members who had retired within the past two years.
Bees Knees reporter Emma McPiddlehilton recently interviewed Prince Philip and she asked him if everything for the wedding and the wedding reception was running smoothly.
Prince Philip, looking dashing and debonair as always in his Royal shirt, pants, coat, and Nike's replied that he really did not have anything to do with the security aspect of the wedding.
When he was asked about the food that would be served, the prince smiled and gestured politely that he had no idea what was going to be served.
Miss McPiddlehilton then asked him what exactly he would be wearing on the wedding day. Philip took a sip of his tea and then a bite of is kiwi crumpet and replied that he had not really given it much thought really.
McPiddlehilton looked him in the eye and asked, "Queen Elizabeth is totally running the show isn't she?"
"Totally." Came the reply from the majestic prince.
When Emma got around to talking to Queen Elizabeth she asked about the rumor that wedding guests Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand had revealed to Prince Harry that they may get a little tipsy after putting away some of the Kiss Me Kate Beer which is the only beer that will be available at the wedding reception.
The queen rolled her eyes. She asked Emma to move in closer to her. And then in her Royal voice she whispered that she had personally had a talk with both Mr. Gervais and Mr. Brand in the presence of three of the highest ranking members of Scotland Yard.
The queen went on to say that she informed the two happy-go-lucky British chaps Gervais and Brand that should they even remotely get out-of-line she will have members of Scotland Yard immediately take them into custody, transport them to The Petula Clark Prison For Blokes, where they will spend the night, and then the next day, both will be flown to the most isolated part of Siberia.
When asked what they had replied to that. The queen giggled and said that the two suddenly turned into Elton John and Boy George and promised that they would behave themselves.
The queen who has been to several rodeos as they say over in Texas has made both Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand put up a cash deposit of £600,000 [$991,000 U.S.] each, which they will forfeit if they step out of line.
