The Office of Communications - OFCOM - are to set up a brand new sub department to be known as OFBOYLE, which will be tasked solely with dealing with all the complaints made about controversial comedian Frankie Boyle.

In the last year alone, the government approved regulatory authority charged with, amongst other things, protecting consumers from offensive material, has had to deal with complaints about Boyle's jokes concerning mental health, the Queen, Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington and Katie Price's disabled son.

The number of complaints made about the Glasgow born comic have gone through the roof over the last 2 years and OFCOM has been struggling to deal with the workload.

50 new employees have already been appointed to staff the new department.

William Hills have stopped taking bets on the next target of Boyle's acerbic wit being government bureaucracy.
