READING, Pennsylvania - Kate Gosselin who is still depressed after her personal bodyguard Steve "The Gray Fox" Nield quit has said that she has been approached to appear on the hit cable show The Vampire Diaries.

Gosselin, who stars in Kate Plus 8, said that she has accepted the offer by the shows producer Manolo Middlezuck.

She stated that when her eight kids found out that she had been offered a guest starring role they all started jumping up and down like a bunch of crazed Masai warriors preparing for their weekly lion hunt.

Middlezuck said that Gosselin will be portraying Tularosa Exalted Sorceress of The Dancing Devil Demons. She will intermingle with Nina Dobrev's character Elena Gilbert and will end up casting a spell on Damon Salvatore the character portrayed by Ian Sommerhalder.

Kate has agreed to wear a type of open skirt that will showcase her great looking legs, which Dancing With The Stars British Judge Len "The Grouchy Grouch" Goodman said are in the same category as the lovely legs of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl Irina Shayk and American Idol Judge Jennifer Lopez.

Kate Gosselin reportedly told TV ClickerWorld's Acktung Zumwalt that she still misses her former bodyguard Steve Nield very much.

She confessed that since he quit on January 28, of this year she has sent him a total of 29 text messages, 26 emails, and 23 phone calls which he has not responded to.

Kate talked to Dr. Phil who told her that she needs to forget about Mr. Nield and get herself a new bodyguard. Gosselin responded by saying that Steve is the only bodyguard that she wants guarding her body.

TV ClickerWorld will continue following the Kate Gosselin-Steve The Bodyguard saga.
