image for Moore To Play Palin

Roger Moore is to play Michael Palin in the former Monty Python's life story, production of which is to begin later this year.

84 year old Moore, famous for his long running TV series "The Saint" and his 7 films from 1973 to 1985 as James Bond, is a lifelong fan of Palin both for his work with Monty Python and for his travel documentaries.

Many of the classic Monty Python sketches will feature in the film, tentatively titled "Palin Comparison", and Moore is receiving special tuition as he wants to do full justice to the "Dead Parrot", "The Argument Clinic" and "The Spanish Inquisition".

Moore has had to admit defeat with "The Lumberjack Song", however, as he is tone deaf and will be lip synching for the first time in his long career.

Make grimbo's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
