Lindsay Lohan appeared before Judge Keith Schwartz in Los Angeles today to find out whether or not she'll be going to jail on charges of stealing a $2500 necklace or if she'll be granted a new trial before another judge.
While her attorneys asked that the plea bargain contain no jail time, Judge Schwartz could not confirm that and therefore gave Lohan another two weeks to decide if she wanted to accept the plea bargain with possible jail time of anywhere from 30-90 days or have taxpayers splurge on another trial that could land her in state prison if found guilty. Jokingly, Lohan answered "Can I have another spin on the wheel, Pat?"
Seriously though, upon hearing that taxpayers would be responsible for footing the tab for another lengthy trial, Lohan, known for her good-natured and giving attitude, offered instead to spend a year at Charlie Sheen's Recovery Center located in Charlie Sheen's home.
"I just know that is the best place for me," Lohan told the Judge. "I need a recovery program, and all my friends are telling me what a great place Charlie Sheen's Recovery Center is. They go there all the time."
Unsubstantiated reports from the Sheen camp say that Sheen believes Lohan would straighten right up with a little corporal punishment. "If and when Lindsay comes to my house for rehabilitation, the first thing I'm gonna do is give her well-deserved spanking."
Judge Schwartz told Lohan that he'll take her request under advisement and cautioned her in the meantime to "keep her nose clean."
