HOLLYWOOD - The fans of Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato can hardly wait to see The Vampire Diaries episode that the two singing sensations have just finished filming with the shows stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder.

Gomez and Lovato were asked by producer Manolo Middlezuck if they would like to appear on his show and both jumped at the chance.

Selena said that it is her grandmother's favorite all-time show and that includes such big time hits as Lassie, My Favorite Martian, F Troop, Petticoat Junction, and Rawhide.

Gomez also remarked that her boyfriend Justin Bieber never misses an episode and records it if he is performing while it is being telecast.

Lovato said that when she was staying at The Henry and Betty Ford Rehab Clinic The Vampire Diaries was the one show that all of the patients enjoyed watching more than anything else on television including The Desperate Housewives.

Demi said that some of the patients would even dress up like some of the characters. She said that they all looked so cute especially 97-year-old Winfield Fizzbinger who would dress up as Elena Gilbert.

Lovato said that they used to make bets on which of the cast members would get bit and where. Demi said that while at the rehab clinic she won a little over $70 making bets on The Vampire Diaries.

The episode in which Gomez and Lovato appear is titled, "The Attack of The Vampire Sock Puppets." Middlezuck stated that the script was written by noted sock puppet expert Newberry F. Tockdollar of Bangor, Maine.

It is believed that Tockdollar owns the largest collection of sock puppets in the world. At last count his collection numbered 3,923 from all over the world including 137 from Arizona.
