image for Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift Have Just Completed Filming On Sand Castle Pictures' "Sock Party"
Every single "Sock Party" in America during the 50s and 60 included anywhere from 1 to 20 Elvis Presley Songs.

BURBANK - Castle Rock Pictures based in Burbank, California has announced that they have just finished production on the new Durango Grundyweather motion picture set in 1950s Santa Monica titled Sock Party.

The film deals with teen girl parties of the 50s in which they would get together and wear poodle skirts, pedal pushers, saddle shoes, and simulate smoking candy cigarettes.

In the Grundyweather movie Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato portray the Sharpello sisters, Bonnie and Connie. Their father is a Ward Cleaver type and their mother is a June Cleaver type.

They have one little brother who is a Beaver Cleaver type.

[EDITOR'S NOTE: I have always wondered how a totally well-adjusted, all-American, church going couple like Ward and June Cleaver could possibly nickname their little boy Beaver knowing that everyone would call him Beaver Cleaver. But then again that was back in the 50's when no one considered those types of words nasty, crude, or vulgar. Heck even the word wienie was only used to describe a type of dog.]

Taylor Swift stars as the Sharpello sisters best friend Giggles McPioneer, who later becomes the head cheerleader at Sitting Bull High School and is actually the very first cheerleader in America to ever utter the cheerleading phrase 'Two bits, four bits, six bits, a dollar, all for the Trojans stand up and holler.'

The movie deals with the week end happenings at the Sharpello home which is full of love, laughter, food, iced tea, and Elvis Presley 45's.

The film co-stars Taylor Momsen as the outcast Vessosa Lipkinsteen, whom nobody likes because she is always talking behind everyone's backs. In fact, Vessosa is actually liked by all of the schools football players, basketball players, baseball players, and even the two members of the chess club.

They all refer to her as "The Salt Shaker" because of the fact that she has been passed around more times than a...salt shaker.

In one touching scene, Vessosa shows up at the Sharpello's house during one of the 'Sock Parties.' She tells Giggles that she would like to stay and join in on the fun since the two guys she was supposed to meet beneath the football stadium bleachers never showed up.

Giggles asked her if one of the guys was named Toby Kunnfeister. Vessosa replies that yes Toby was one of the guys she was to have met. Giggles suddenly lunges towards her and latches on to her right ankle with her mouth.

Vessosa starts screaming so loud she drowns out Elvis Presley's "Return To Sender." She screams even louder as Giggles starts to chomp down even more.

Finally Mrs. Sharpello runs in and pours cake batter all over Giggles. Well that did not do a damn thing. So she ran back into the kitchen and came back with a can of evaporated milk and poured it on Giggles face. Again - nothing.

She then called out to her husband who was outside trimming an apple tree. He ran into the house and saw what was happening. He ran to the garage and came back with a boat oar.

He told Giggles to let go of Vessosa's ankles. She nodded that she would not and so Mr. Sharpello hit Giggles with the boat oar on the back of her head.

She quickly let go of the ankle and fell like a rag doll to the linoleum floor. After about three minutes she came to.

Vessosa was long gone and Giggles asked what the heck had happened. Mrs. Sharpello said that she must have simply blacked out from drinking too much Delaware Punch.

Sock Party will have its premier in Santa Monica, California which is considered to be 'The Sock Party Capital of The United States.'
