HOLLYWOOD HILLS - Jessica Simpson has confided to a close friend that lately she has really been missing her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo a lot more since he dumped her back in July of 2009.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback dumped little Miss Daisy Duke the day before her 29th birthday.
Romo told Bedroom Pillow Talk that the reason he dumped her was because he had received a text message from Jerry Jones the owner of the Cowboys instructing him to drop the Hollywood starlet-songstress because he felt that she was hurting the team since most of the Cowboy fans felt that Simpson was a jinx.
And to prove his point Jones noted that of the nine Dallas Cowboy games that Ms. Simpson personally attended the team lost all nine games.
Jones told Romo that if he did not dump Jessica Simpson, who the Cowboy fans had began referring to as "Yoko Romo," that he would end up being traded to The Tegucigalpa Taco Makers of The Honduras Semi-Pro Football League.
Romo dumped Simpson the very next day on July 8, which was the day before her birthday.
Many Hollywood critics criticized Romo's timing to which the quarterback replied, "Well dudes, you have to understand that my checks are signed by King Jerry and if he thinks that it's best for the team that I break up with my girlfriend then I will have to do it or as he said find my ass playing down in the 110 degree weather of the mosquito-infested land known as Honduras."
Jessica, who is still devastated almost two years later, texted Tony and told him that she wants for him to give her another chance and take her back.
She even promised that she will stay away from all of the Cowboy games and will watch him play on her big screen TV in either her home in California or his home in Dallas.
BPT is reporting that Tony Romo has told his housekeeper Lulu Gillywood, 51, that he is going to think about it.
