For those who believe that Michael Jackson is still alive, there may be some validation in that belief courtesy of a Google Earth street view image that purports to be none other than the King of Pop walking across Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The figure is quite shadowy, but those who have seen it claim that it is definitely Michael due to the signature walk of his, and the fact that the person in the view is wearing white socks. "All you can see is black on black," said one person who claims to have seen the image, "except for those two white patches where Michael's 'flood' pants rise to show a pair of white socks."
The video is believed to have first shown up on a fan's Facebook page and is purported to be making the rounds underground, which leads many to believe that the view doesn't really exist or that it is just a hoax.
However, many believe the view definitely exists and believe the reason why this street view hasn't become viral is that Google is afraid that if the view is released to the general public, it could crash the Google Earth feature around the world in mere seconds.
"We have to be mindful," said one unidentified source, "that while this particular street view could prove once and for all whether or not Michael Jackson is still among the living, we can't chance having our entire browser system crash just to satisfy the curiosity of a few rabid fans."
Already, the servers in Los Angeles have been particularly slow due to the fact that so many young people are logging into Google Earth and Googling Ventura Boulevard to see if they can catch another glimpse of the most beloved pop star in history.
