"Meat Munchers" a Manhattan butchery is pleased to announce that one of their hugest customers will be wearing one of their products to the Grammy Awards Sunday, February 13, 2011. This customer happens to be none other than New York native pop singer Lady Gaga.
"This was the first chicken we've ever sold that will be used as a hat!" exclaimed an enthused butcher who refuses to be named. "But we love Lady Gaga for her eccentricity and musical talent and she was very sweet when she came in to purchase the $50USD roast chicken". Perhaps the butchers will be pleased as Lady Gaga's purchase will help them generate them a lot of publicity.
According to reporters outside the butchery Lady Gaga was asked how she will design the bird to become a hat and she proudly replied "I will remove the white meat on the inside, use that to make padded bra cups, then tie a rope around my head so that the chicken will stay on. It's fashion!"
Meanwhile certain other celebrities have been infuriated by her actions. Ingrid Newkirk, the President of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has once again spoken out against her disgust towards Lady Gaga's choice of food fashion. "First the beef dress and now THIS! I've tried contacting Gaga and asking her if she would join me on a vegan picnic and she just responded 'Ok, I'll bring salmon sandwiches'. I've already explained that wearing a clothe item or accessory made of animal flesh is not an appropriate fashion style, but Gaga seems to feel that fashion is more important that animal rights."
Secondly British actor/ comedian Rowan Atkinson has been astonished by Gaga's choice. "That's rubbish!", he announced, "Lady Gaga thinks she's so creative but little does she know that was my idea in 'Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean' where I wore a turkey on my head. I came up with that idea first!"
It seems as though Lady Gaga is literally living up to her nickname a "Meathead".
