Lily Allen doesn't like the press

Rumours are circulating the celebrity world that Lily Allen has secretly got married this week after she was seen on a night out sporting not just an engagement ring, but also a wedding ring on her left hand ring finger.

"I think it's fairly obvious," said Slightly Warm Magazine editor Bella Owens. "She got married. A lot of people don't realise, but Lily is a traditional kind of girl, and she wouldn't wear a wedding band unless she was married. She does like to wind up the press, but this is one of the areas of her life she wouldn't kid about."

Lily has been dating Sam Cooper for two years, and decided show off her "manicure" over the weekend, displaying her left hand for fans at a book signing to see her "nails" with the wedding band prominently displayed.

"I was so excited," said Alena Lillium, one fan who was lucky enough to be right there. "I was like oh em gee. I'm such a big Lily Allen fan and this is so exciting. We were jumping up and down squeaking, and she was like 'I know, right!', and we were like 'Oh my god', and she was like all grins and squeaks. It was BRILLIANT."

Further confirmation came when a question was asked on Wiki Answers "Is Lily Allen married" to which somebody with the screen name Nilla Yell replied "Trust me, I know, Lily Allen is married."

Whilst Wiki Answers is not as big as WikiLeaks, many people believe that Nilla Yell was Lily Allen herself.

Why Allen has not gone the usual celebrity route of charging Goodbye! magazine a million pounds, and announced it on Twitter shows how seriously she takes her marriage to painter and decorator Sam Cooper. The two met when he painted her flat in Nottingham.

When asked directly if the pair were married, Lily Allen just laughed and told the press to "Fuck off and mind their own business."
