Internet surfers looking for interesting photos of their favorite celebrities are crying foul today over a photo entitled "Dirty Harry Potter," saying that the title is deceiving.
Potters fans were expecting to see dirty photos of Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who plays Harry Potter in the series of wildly popular stories of the same name. Instead, the seekers, particularly young females in their tweens, teens and early 20's were treated to a photoshopped picture showing actor Clint Eastwood of Dirty Harry fame dressed as Harry Potter, complete with lightning bolt birth mark on his forehead and pointing a Magnum 57 at the camera.
"What kina *&%# is this?" asked 15-year old Hermoine Ramsey, no relation to the bad-tempered chef, Gordon Ramsey. "I stay up late on a school night for this?" she ranted to friends on her Facebook page. Similar comments were left on the site that published the photo calling it everything from a cruel hoax to a poor attempt by Eastwood himself to garner some much needed attention for a career that has fallen flat the past decade or so.
"I turn on my computer, see a teaser for a photo of what I hope will be Radcliffe in a striking pose," says Charlotte Sweb, "and instead I get a gross picture of some old dude dressed as a judge pointing his gun at me. It is not only deceitful, says Sweb, it's quite sick and twisted. Sweb, 69, claims she has been "taken" with Radcliffe as Potter ever since she first saw him in the original Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and is considering legal action against the poster of the photo for misleading Potter's fans.
