One thing you can say about young Taylor Lautner, he loves a challenge.
There's a new Disney movie coming out next Spring and the lead female role will be voiced by Taylor Lautner. Of all the guys that might do the role, you might think it would be a Justin Bieber but that's not the voice the film's producer wanted.
"We had already turned down Lady Gagas best effort. That had been a big disappointment because it would have brought in more than the younger people for the animated film", stated Lawrence Wills. "But her voice wasn't rough enough for this villain."
That was when someone suggested a male doing the voice for her and right away one of the guys suggested Taylor Lautner because he said he could hear it in his head.
"It didn't appeal to me at first", stated Wills. "But we invited Lautner to come over and give us a version of this evil lady's voice and it was perfect."
Allen Day, who was recording that day stated, "This lady needed what I call a 'smoker's voice' and Lautner heard us out and did a great audition."
We talked with his friends from the Twilight series and Ashley Greene stated that the animated film is all Taylor has been talking about since the audition.
"He goes around talking like that sometimes and freaks people out, me included if he's behind me."
Robin Conrad, bit-part actor in Twilight told us that Lautner said you could really get into a role if you look at the scene and clinched your fists and talked as if you were mad at the whole world."
As for Taylor?
A quick word is all we got but he told us he loved playing the villain and wanted to do some more if this one goes over big.
"Maybe by my doing a female role, at least it will keep Adam Lambert off my ass!"
