Susan Boyle had a performance scheduled on, The View, this morning. She was to sing the Christmas classic, O Holy Night when out of the blue her spectacular voice failed her. Not only did her voice fail her once but it did it twice. The second time Boyle abandoned the song all together forgetting she was going out live to the eastern coast.
Boyle stopped and asked producers if she could re start but the damage was done. Whoopie Goldberg and Sherry Shepperd swooped to the rescue to ease the awkward moment. The audience picked up the slack and applauded as Boyle apologized repeatedly.
Whoopie attributed the problem to a frog in Boyle's throat.
Others thought it may have been a more spiritual, higher power that intervened and interrupted the moment.
