Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of Britney, was asked why so many people from her past dislike her sister so much.
"It's because of something she did a long time ago and they have never forgiven her for it."
And what was that?
"They took photographs of her while she was wearing almost nothing. They were only teasing, playing a joke but Britney took it seriously. But look, go over to either Angie Leonard's house or see Sandy Milam and ask them. They were in the group, they can give you the details. I'll get you their addresses."
So I made it over to Sandy Milam's house and she agreed to tell the story even though the Leonard family said no.
"We often slept over at friends houses back then. We were 16-18 and between high school and college so Angie and some more of us were actually proud of Britney back then. As I said, we slept over and Britney wore very little to bed so after learning she had to be up early and fixing breakfast one morning because she had lost a bet, we decided to get her."
"Very early we went over there outside a back window and waiting for her to come downstairs. Just as she did, Angie began taking photographs of the nearly nude Britney. Every time she started breakfast, I would ring her up and she would walk through the house and answer."
"We did this a couple of times so Angie could get some good photos. Then she saw us. She grabbed a robe and came out the door as we took off yelling that we had photos to sell for a lot of money to the press."
"To some it up, we never intended to do that. Angie found out she had no film in the camera. It was an older one. But Britney called the police on us. We almost never convinced the police that there WERE no photos. It was all a trick. So, Britney lost three friends that day."
Of course, there was only one thing I could say. Are you SURE Angie didn't have any film? My tabloid would ....but this is where I was led from the house by a husband and brother and crawled back to the car.
This is Tooter Day for the West Coast Post.
