LONDON - One of England's top reality shows X-Factor may have a new judge after the end of the current season.
Cheryl Cole has confirmed that Simon Cowell has asked her to be one of the judges when he premiers the American version of X-Factor in Hollywood next year.
Ever since Cowell first decided to produce the X-Factor in the United States he knew that his first choice for one of the judges would certainly be Chezza Cole.
Cole is absolutely thrilled since she will have a great opportunity to show the American public that she can sing, dance, and tell jokes as well.
In fact, Cheryl's boyfriend, Derek "The Dancing Dude" Hough, who appears on Dancing With The Stars has told Ryan Seacrest that Cole knows more knock knock jokes, mother-in-law jokes, and Sarah Palin jokes than anyone that he has ever known including Mr. Potato Chin himself, aka Jay Leno.
Simon has stated that he has already been in talks with the very popular Louise Minchin about replacing Cheryl as judge on X-Factor in England.
Minchin, who is a highly respected BBC newsreader and presenter on the shows BBC News At One and BBC Breakfast, has stated that she will be thrilled to fill not only Cheryl Cole's shoes, but her brassiere and knickers as well.
The blonde pixie-haired Louise is a very talented professional who can speak fluent Spanish, Lithuanian, Mandarin Chinese, and Chippewa.
Earlier this year she was involved in the infamous blue dress cleavage incident but she definitely ended up coming out on top in that situation.
She was later mildly involved in Soho's thigh high stockings scandal back in May, but her publicist Nigel Thornbutter, III, moved quickly and got that matter squashed before it became a problem.
SIDENOTE: Minchin's popularity really shot through the roof when the stunning 42-year-old appeared in an eight page photo layout in one of Britain's most respected men's magazines PlayGent.
