Brent McMahan, the owner of an RV dealership in Irvine, California sued by Taylor Lautner over a customized vehicle, challenged the "Twilight" star Monday to use his muscles instead of his lawyers to resolve the case.
"Let's see what you got?", McMahan was stated as saying Monday. "You win the push-up contest, I pay. I win it, you lose!"
However, Lautner's attorney says that this is the same unprofessional conduct that the salesman has used before in delivering promised products.
"We think that Mr. McMahan is hoping he can get all the free publicity he can over this. We say he didn't keep his promises in his contract and that's what the lawsuit is all about.
McMahon and his attorney denied wrongdoing and said they will vigorously defend the case in court if Lautner, 18, doesn't accept the challenge. As of this writing, he hadn't even delivered the RV.
Asked for his opinion on the push-up question, Lautner reportedly told the interviewer, "I'm not trained seal. This was a business deal of me purchasing an RV from the man, an RV which still isn't here."
"If Mr. McMahan doesn't have it here soon, I'll be over with my whole pack come the first full moon!"
"There, the trained seal has blown his horn! Happy?"
