The Fox Network finally has the angle it's been looking for to offer the Palin family a chance to have their own reality show on their channel-the feud between Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston.
"We were trying to figure out how we were going to do a show on the Palins with just Sarah as the mama bear. It really wasn't shaping up and it sounded too much like a rip off of the TLC show "Sarah Palin's Alaska" which we figured would have plenty of bear scenes in it," claims Sheryl Tucker, Fox Network's creative programming genius.
"Then the heavens opened up and Levi Johnston practically landed in our laps," said Tucker. Tucker claims that the feud between Sarah and Levi is the perfect backdrop to tie Sarah's staunch revolutionary war-era beliefs to her modern-day crusade to turn politics on its back and ride it for all it's worth, figuratively speaking, of course. "Levi Johnston coming back at this most inopportune time is sure to create some real agita for the Ice Princess," she said.
Tucker got the idea just days ago when news reports claim that Sarah Palin is none too pleased about her daughter Bristol's decision to forgive Levi and allow him back into her life. Palin is said to have commented that she considers Levi a traitor right up there in the ranks of Benedict Anold. "When I heard that, says Tucker, "I knew I had me a reality television show."
"Palins - A Modern Revolutionary War" is being pitched to the Palins, and so far Bristol and Levi have given the project a big thumbs up. There is no word yet from Sarah Palin, or Todd, her husband, whether or not they will participate in the show; but Tucker assures Fox fans that one way or the other, this is one reality television show that not only needs to be made but that Fox is pulling out all the stops to make it the number one reality show in America.
