image for Whoopi Goldberg Says Mel Gibson Is Not A Racist - And Whoopi You Ain't An Old Black Gal With Dreadlocks
This is the amount of money that Mel Gibson will pay his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva in monthly child support.

LOS ANGELES - Whoopi Goldberg was having lunch at Cousin Cooter's Chicken Wings and Thangs when she was asked about the recent half dozen recorded rants by Mel Gibson directed at his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Goldy, as her hair stylist calls her, put down her chicken wing and said that Mel has been getting a bad rap by the press.

She was immediately told that the press has not gone on ridiculously crazed rants and raves, nor have they used every four-letter word in the book. Nor have they made racist remarks against Jews, Blacks, Norwegians, Chinese, Hispanics, and Seminoles.

Goldberg said that for the most part Melly, as she calls one of her best friends, has been misquoted by the entertainment media.

She said that they have never really liked Gibson because he used to have about $1 billion dollars and then he got divorced from his lovely Australian wife Robyn and that amount went down to $500 million with the flick of a pen.

Whoopi said that she will admit that Mel has been under a lot of pressure lately since his past few movies have all gone from the studio right into the toilet.

She pointed out that Lions Door Pictures has cancelled what was to have been his next movie, Oops - The Story of The Ex-Mr. Sandra Bullock, Jesse James.

Another motion picture, which Gibson was to have produced has also been shelved. That film was The Amazing Sex Habits of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Franklin.

SIDENOTE: Goldberg says that she does not trust anything that Oksana Grigorieva says because she is a Russian. When asked if she isn't showing that she is a racist herself, Whoopi quickly says that she isn't and that she just does not trust Oksana because she looks just like a Russian spy.

Make Abel Rodriguez's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
