Susan Boyle, aka SuBo is still scouting for a singing partner to record an album of duets with and many are certain that her most recent consideration may just be the one that sticks-a Yank by the name of Sally Cohn.
Sally Cohn, soon to be dubbed SaCo by most satirists, is the talented 75-year old hand whistler on America's Got Talent who some say is the best at her talent hands down. After seeing SaCo on America's Got Talent, SuBo requested a sample CD. SaCo obliged, sending her a lovely hand-whistled version of "I Dreamed a Dream." One thing led to another and the two hooked up in Los Angeles last week to discuss a future together. SaCo immediately let SuBo know in no uncertain terms that she was looking more for a life partner than a duet partner, but that seemed only to make SuBo all the more interested in this quirky little hand whistler.
"I think I've found what I've been looking for, finally," exclaimed SuBo, smiling lovingly at SaCo. "Although she's about as old as mae mum, I feel like a schoolgirl around her. And the hand whistling, well, let me tell you, that woman has magic hands," she said with a shy and nervous giggle.
SuBo and SaCo have been spending a lot of time together in LA, sightseeing and getting to know each other. At present, they are sharing a suite at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and planning what they hope to be a long and prosperous, and loving, future together.
Ah, two homely old birds singing and hand whistling their way around the world, now that's entertainment.
