Amy Winehouse's ex-backing dancer Heshima Thompson, a personal friend of Amy's, says people are still in love the Rehab star.
Asked for the latest on Amy, who has suffered a string of health problems after battling drugs, the actor said: "I feel that she is in good hands - she's in really good hands."
Larry Istarte, a former bodyguard who still takes Winehouse out on a few occasions says much the same.
"Amy has finally decided that the drugs must go if she's going to have a career, if she's going to have a life, for that matter."
Winehouse has her support club of fans on her website. She has began posting more lately and seems to be in much better shape than any time over the past 2-3 years.
"Yes, I heard the bug story", stated Istarte. "And it was true for awhile. She was desperately trying to get well. They weren't real bugs. She would eat the invisible ones."
"And she has stopped?"
"Yeah. She said the last ones weren't ripe. She was putting me on by then."
Sounds like Amy needs to ditch all the old druggy friends and stay with this guy.
