I left him with his world in his hands.

Police have said they are evaluating claims that Hollywood star Mel Gibson shouted at Oksana Grigorieva, his ex-girlfriend, and threw his dinner at her, that she had just moments earlier prepared for him while on a camping trip in the wilds of Australia.

Oksana Grigorieva, an Hungarian national, had just made her home country's signature dish of beef stew for the ageing daytime TV star and anti-Semite, when he flew into one of his trademark hissy fits, well known for their being apropos of not much and consisting of mostly sound and/or fury, signifying somewhat less than what it was originally apropos of.

'It vas terrifyink' stated Oksana 'I haf seen him lose it before but he vas like an hedge monkey, or how you say, rednecked neo-Nazi. He vas shoutink and screamink about the food I am cookink for him.' She continued in her broken English 'He did not liking that it vas in a, vhat you call, billytucker can? He vas usink such colourful metaphor. Oh, such language I am never hearink from him.'

It was at this point that things took a turn for the worst when the gobshite Gibson started insulting the goulash and describing it as peasant food.

Miss Grigorieva explained 'He haf the cheeks to insult my grandmothers Goulash? I show him I thinks. He raises his hand to me? NO! I am not be puttings up with this. SIMPLES! So, I let him have it with my sturdy boot for the walkings, right in his nokedli'
