It's apparently true. Marie Osmond has been sent to a psycho ward in order to try to get her son's suicide off her mind.
Although a publicist for the family says that Marie could not sleep with only 25 sleeping pills and that that had caused the mental breakdown, the family has had enough and are trying to get her help at a private sanitarium.
The fragile 50-year-old entertainer is still shattered by the son man's death in February - and some nights her brother Donny, 52, has to plead with the grief-stricken star to go onstage.
"Remember, Marie, you'll need this cash later if you completely bug-out!"
Phyllis Osmond, a double-cousin of the group, stated that when she heard about the 25 sleeping pills not putting Marie to sleep, she was shocked.
"Twenty-Five sleeping pills should have put her to sleep for good! But I found out later that it was melatonin."
"Marie was always smiling and hiding all the heartbreak in her life. I mean, she had to work with Donny-Boy for years. That's enough to drive anyone off his nut. She once told me that in he bright lights on stage, Donny's teeth were always giving her a migraine!"
