image for Lady Gaga Admits She Loves Taylor Swift

Just when you think you have Lady Gaga pegged as a tough-skinned, rough edged, avant-garde artist who only does cool, she throws you for a loop.

In a recent interview, Gaga was asked what song she was embarrassed to admit she likes and she picked Taylor Swift's "You Belong to Me." She went on to gush about the song and apologized multiple times for picking the song and then saying she sang the song all the time really loud and couldn't get it out of her head. She admitted the inadmissible, that the song allowed her to be (gasp) whimsical.

This leads everyone to believe that Taylor Swift is definitely on the mind when Gaga is showering. Let's face it, where do people sing the loudest? In the shower, of course. In fact, Lady Gaga's neighbors had said that she sometimes simultaneous talks out loud while singing loudly in the shower saying such things as "damn you, Taylor Swift, you're a fine woman, a fine songwriter. I can't get you out of my head," and "what is this whimsy that's come over me, like some demon's concoctory?" and other such things which lead many people to wonder if there is something more than just a lust for lyrics going on between the two.

This bit of news, however, has left Taylor Swift a bit non plussed. "On the one hand," she said, "I think Lady Gaga is a great performer, but on the other hand, she is just not my type at all. If she were a guy, maybe I'd think about it, but not if she's a woman, no way."

To which Lady Gaga responded, "ah, sweet young thing, so naive."
