LONDON - After talking about it for years, original Led Zeppelin members Robert Plant, Jimmy Paige, and John Paul Jones have taken the advice of a 14-year-old fan, Miley June Suskington, who lives in Pimlico, England and they put together a collection of songs that the lads did not especially care for.
But as a representative for the band said, "Lemmy say that da worst of da Zeppelin is da best of many a very good band."
At first lead singer Robert Plant did not like the idea because he said that no one would buy the blikein' bunkistical album.
But after their manager told him how much money they stood to make on such a record he quickly changed his tune and actually did what can be considered to be a semblance of the moon walk.
Jimmy Paige and John Paul Jones, who need the money much more than Plant readily agreed to the opportunity.
When Plant was asked if it meant that the group would get together to tour he just smiled. He shook his head and said that he is 61, and he loves living in West Bromwich and just tending to his guppies.
Paige and Jones, who are 66, and 64, respectively both say that they would jump on a concert tour quicker than it takes Amy Winehouse to make a stupid remark.
Jimmy Paige says that he needs the money because of a bad investment he made ten years ago. He said that he took all of his money and he put it into the audio cassette market.
John Paul Jones said that last year he took every single dime he had and he invested it in pet rocks which he said he had been tipped off were going to be making a comeback.
Meanwhile Robert Plant invested most of his money in Up and Up and Away, which is the company that produces 97 percent of the world's viagra.
The last time he checked Plant said that his stock was worth about £80 million [$116 million U.S]. Plant laughs and says that he is the most popular resident in his neighborhood and always has male neighbors (and sometimes female neighbors) coming by for free samples.
SIDENOTE: The picture that is being used as the album cover is taken from a charcoal drawing that Jimmy Paige's, 4-year-old granddaughter Missy Clementine Paige drew on Valentine's Day. The little 4-year-old lassie isn't a bad artist.
