After all the fallout recently of Miley Cyrus dancing like a stripper on a TV special and the recent video release of her rubbing her butt into a 45-year-old male's crotch when she was 16, her dad Billy Ray stated this morning that she did much worse when she was two.
"She just about ruined both of us before we really got started", Billy Ray told a TV audience this morning.
Billy Ray was appearing on Good Morning and being asked about his daughter's behavior of late when he began telling about an incident in the 1990s.
"I had just got a break with "Acky Breaky" and was going to appear on a local news show in Louisville, Kentucky. We were early and I had my three-year-old daughter, 'Smiley' with me because I thought she'd like to be on TV, plus they had actually asked me to bring her after I mentioned the idea."
"Smiley was a really cute and friendly little gal but, as I said, we were a little early so I sat down with her on a couch in the studio and let her wander around a bit."
"That was when someone stuck his head out of the door and stated "Five Minutes!" so up I jumped and fell right on my face into a small metal thrash collector. Broke two teeth, scratched up my face and broke a finger. Miley had tied my shoestrings together. I had always wore my boots but they were muddy that morning so I slipped on some shoes."
So both careers may have ended right then and there as Billy Ray had to be rushed to the hospital, as his wife, Tish, came and picked up Miley.
However, a good lawyer and a settled lawsuit helped the family stay afloat for six months while Billy Ray healed and then immediately gone on his first major tour.
"By this time, 'Some Gave All' was also making a big hit", stated Cyrus. "So this latest thing about the dances, is just another hiccup in the road."
