New York, NY - Fox's John Stossel is the latest in a line of Libertarians stepping up to the plate and saying they want to see a repeal of the Civil Rights Act. Stossel's comments comes on the heels of interviews given by Rand Paul, the GOP candidate for a Kentucky senate seat, who won the primary election because evidently, there are more folks out there than we want to believe who feel the same way. Either that or the polling places in Kentucky had signs out front that said "Whites Only."
Many are not sure if this is truly the way Stossel feels or if he sees this as the opportune time to win Rupert Murdoch over and oust Glenn Beck from his prime spot on Fox. Even though Rupert Murdoch is rumored to be a skinflint, he will throw money at the right cause, and racism is a cause many believe he cares deeply about. Stossel may just be making his move to become Murdoch's next multi-millionaire.
How else can you explain the openly racist comments Stossel is making as he calls for a repeal of the Public Accommodation section of the Civil Rights Act, which is the part that separates the "whites from the coloreds" when it comes to dining out, doing business, etc. Stossel is cagey. Like Paul, he uses the same language to try and get his point across. "I'm not racist, and I would never go into a restaurant that is discriminating against colored people, but at the same time, I would defend the business owner's right to be racist until the death."
Statements like these and others are quickly rocketing Stossel to the top of Rupert Murdoch's "Love Songs for the Racist" weekly hit list and making him a serious contender for Glenn Beck's television spot once Beck finally cracks under the pressure of his own demented thoughts.
So Murdoch now has a decision to make. He can keep Glenn "Don't Tread on Me" Beck as his main loyal racist commentator or he can give the top spot to John "Stomp All Over the Rights of Others" Stossel. It's gonna be a close call. You know the old saying, "give a racist a choice and you can rely on his doing the white thing."
