image for Michael Jackson Visits Paris Hilton in Hospital

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) The large crowd of people gathered in front of San Francisco General Hospital hoping to get in to visit Paris Hilton swelled to thousands more as word got out that entertainer Michael Jackson was up on the third floor visiting his old friend Paris Hilton. People were heard screaming, "We love you Michael!" and "Get better soon, Paris!"

Paris Hilton is in the hospital recovering from her recent accident involving one of the city's cable cars. Although the feeding tube and respirator are no longer needed, Paris Hilton is still bandaged up head to toe. "This morning I was trying my best to get my hair in rollers and was having no luck. I was just about to burst into tears when all of a sudden there was a knock on the door and in walked Michael Jackson. I was so happy to see Michael, but I was even happier to see the fourteen photographers that he brought with him. I know it's hard to see under all these bandages, but all those cameras clicking made me smile again. It's been such a long time since I had my picture taken."

Michael Jackson spoke to reporters in the hallway outside of Paris Hilton's room. "I want to thank all of you for coming here this morning. As you know, I don't especially like reporters and photographers very much, but your presence has cheered up my friend Paris. After I finish my visit with Paris, I'm going up to the 5th floor where the children's ward is. I'm sure there will be a lot of children there that will be happy to see me. I'm going to try to get in bed with some of the little boys because I know that makes them feel good. It makes me feel good too in a very special way."

Spoof reporter Morgan Truce asked Michael Jackson, "How are things going at that trial Mr. Jackson?"

"I'm having a lot of fun. You know I have several closets just full of very beautiful things to wear, and I plan on wearing different outfits every day. After the trial I'll probably have to settle for that orange jump suit that is becoming all the rage in California."
