Top celebrity psychic medium, Derek Acorah has been approached to host a new chat show.
To stand out from the crowd, Acorah will not be interviewing the latest celebrities plugging new movies, new songs or new books. Instead he will be interviewing dead celebrities.
In the opening show, the Scouse charlatan will be interviewing Michael Jackson, John Lennon, John F Kennedy and Paul Daniels. Producers are aware that TV funnyman magician Daniels is not actually dead, but with the show not being aired until the autumn there is plenty of time for that to change.
Acorah was upbeat about the new project.
"I'm quite often approached by dead celebrities who want to put their point of view across," Acorah told Jonathan Ross while plugging his new TV show. "This will be the ideal forum for them to speak again."
Acorah has already famously called upon Michael Jackson in a TV seance, and plans to do it again.
It is widely expected that there will be no new insights into the lives and deaths of these celebrities, but one of the questions Acorah will be putting to John F Kennedy is whether or not he has had chance to speak with John Harvey Oswald about the shooting, to see if the conspiracy theories can be confirmed or denied.
Psychic skeptic James Randi has poured scorn on the whole series, claiming it is mere sensationalism and Acorah is the bigest conman since Moses.
"He is less psychic and more psychotic," Randi announced.
