Part Of The Set For The Mick McManus Movie

Alex Reid has announced several times recently that he really wants to get into acting, and with that in mind he auditioned today for the leading role in the upcoming all British biopic of wrestling legend Mick McManus.

Alex Reid said that he was cautiously optimistic that he would get the part, with his cage fighting experience being a definite advantage in playing a professional wrestler.

Mick McManus, of New Cross, South London, regularly appeared on ITV's World Of Sport on Saturday afternoons in the 60's and 70's as the man the people loved to hate. He was known among wrestling fans for his forearm smashes, his Boston Crabs, and his cauliflower ears - he'd scream like a little bitch if an opponent rubbed up his cauliflower ears.

McManus would regularly grapple with the likes of Les Kellet, Vic Faulkner, Johnny Kwango, Honey Boy Zimba, and Kendo Nagasaki, but his biggest rival was Jackie 'Mister TV' Pallo.

Alex Reid said that he would be honoured to play such a wrestling legend, although the producer of the film admitted that there would be very little wrestling involved, as the project was primarily a soft-porn venture, mainly using Mick McManus's name to lend it an air of glamour and respectability.

When we told Katie Price about this, her face clouded over and she started shouting at Alex Reid, who remains very much his own man.

Previous information suggesting that Peter Andre was interested in playing Jackie 'Mister TV' Pallo have since been discredited.

Katie Price still has gigantic breasts. They are not real.

More as we get it.
