LONDON - Well finally, the much anticipated Coronation Street 'Kiss' between Sophie and Sian has been filmed and will air on April 11.
Sophie and Sian share an on screen kiss that will cause a lot of Coronation Street viewers to go "Blimey!" "Wodt da bloomin' bloody 'ell was dat?" and "By jove."
Director Reginald Billingshurst said that they have been wanting to do the "Kiss" scene between the two friends for quite some time.
He said that the trick was to try and convince the pair that by her kissing each other in a scene from a TV show did not mean that she was strange or had some inner deep rooted abnormal tendencies.
Billingshurst assured the pair that no one would consider that she was an odd girl except for maybe some isolated 'flamers' like Louis Walsh, Russell Brand, and "The Count of Criticism" himself Simon Cowell.
The two asked if they could go to the dressing room and privately practice a little bit before filming the actual "Kiss" scene.
Billingshurst said absolutely take all the time that you need.
Four hours later the two actresses emerged from Vanderbilt's dressing room and told Billingshurst that they were ready to shoot the much-anticipated scene.
The director yelled out the obligatory "quiet on the set" and "action" and the actor's played out their roles.
It all went very well. Billingshurst said that he was pleased. He said that he was rather surprised that the "Kiss" scene did take a total of 53 takes but said that overall everything went spiffy and everyone was jolly well happy.
Doctors have assured the two that they will not have any lingering side effects mentally, emotionally, or physically, later adding that the giddiness should completely go away within 24 hours.
In other news. Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock has stated that the rumor circulating throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Connecticut that she is having SRS, sexual reassignment surgery are false. Bullock stated that she believes that the vicious rumor was most probably started by the extremely jealous Meryl Streep.
