image for Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus Form An All-Girl, All-Star Band
Victoria Beckham, shown above, at 35, is the oldest member of USUK.

NEW YORK CITY - In a move that surprised the music world British singers Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham have joined with American singers Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus to form an all-girl, all-star band.

The group which takes its name from the initials of the United Kingdom and the United States was originally called UKUS. But when it was noted that when sounded out the name sounded like 'you cuss' the name was changed.

The band's manager Emerson Saltgum said that he changed the name from UKUS to USUK to avoid having young fans going around saying the curse word cuss.

Saltgum said that the four super star singers will be recording their first single in May. The song, which was co-written by Taylor Swift and Kara DioGuardi is entitled, "Oops Looks Like I Forgot Me Knickers Again."

Emerson Saltgum has stated that the key to USUK being successful will be for each of the four females to check their personalities at the door. He smiled and then added, "And Miley will certainly have to also check her gigantic bag of bubblegum."

In other news. Vice President Joe Biden has said that he is a big fan of Dancing With The Stars. He said that he even votes. When asked who he votes for, he grinned and made a number 8 figure with his hands. He then whispered, "I vote for perky Pam (Anderson)."
