LOS ANGELES - The Candlelight Motion Picture Company in association with Universal Studios, and in conjunction with Designated Moviegoers Films has just announced that filming will soon begin on the movie The Wizard of Oz - Dorothy Returns To Kansas And Gets Gang-Plowed By The Farm Hands
The movie will be shot on location in Wichita, Kansas, which was home to eight of the original Wizard of Oz munchkins.
The films co-directors Duffy Bayou-Gauche and Gunther Krottentokker have spared no expense in the movie. They have hired the original make up artist, the original hair stylist, and even the original food catering service, Sandwiches "R" Us.
Vanessa Hudgens will portray the film's main star Dorothy Gale, Robert Pattinson will portray Leo the cowardly lion, and Joe Jonas will portray Raven the scarecrow.
The part of the tin man has of yet not been cast. Zac Efron was to have portrayed the scarecrow but dropped out due to the fact that he is allergic to hay.
Taylor Lautner was then approached but he said that he is allergic to silliness. The movie's producers are currently in talks with Jamie Foxx, who would kind of bring a little bit of a different spin to the character, as he would be the first black scarecrow in movie history.
Slated to portray the three Kansas farm hands are David Hasselhoff, Kiefer Sutherland, and Mickey Rourke.
In other news. Boy George told a reporter for the BBC that he is considering changing his stage name from Boy George to Boy Georgette.
