TEHRAN, Iran - Iranian Idol is only in its first season and it has already been cancelled.
A spokesperson for 19th Camel Hump Productions, Sim Casbar stated that Iranian Idol had just entered into its Top Ten stage.
Twenty-six year old Dezjand Mashabriz had just finished singing Iran's current number one song, "One Hump Or Two" by The Yo Bro Desert Ratz.
Iranian Idol judge Shiyazfu "The Desert Dawg" Kermanbollah remarked that Mashabriz was a little bit pitchy in places namely the beginning, the middle, and the end.
The second judge Susie Sarkinti stated that Mashabriz sounded bad due to his song choice, the bass guitar player messing up seven times during the song, and the fact that Mashabriz has laryngitis.
And then the third judge Kunkalint Savoy told Mashabriz that the whole song was one big gigantic mess. He said that he has a two-year-old who could have sung the song better. He then pointed out that all throughout the song Mashy did not hit one right note.
Savoy noted that Mashabriz appeared to be drunk, he was slurring his words, he smelled like camel ovaries, and to top it all off his zipper was open.
He then told Mashabriz that there was no doubt in his mind that he would be the one leaving on tomorrow's show.
Mashabriz grinned and asked, "Really?"
"Yes, Really. And if I may be honest, you were horribly horrendous and you will not only be terminated from Iranian Idol on tomorrow's results show, but you will probably also have trouble finding a job after tonight's sorry ass of a performance."
Masha, as his grandmother Betty calls him replied, "Well guess what Mr. Savoy, I may be leaving tomorrow, but you my desert dawg shit friend are leaving today, right now." And with that Mashabriz took out a Glock 9 from his pants pocket and fired at Mashabriz.
Luckily for Mashabriz, the bullet was deflected by Susie Sarkinti's bullet proof bra and Iranian Idol host Ryan Ballahula helped to wrestle Savoy to to the ground.
While Iranian Police were handcuffing Mashabriz, Ballahula told the audience that due to the extenuating circumstances Savoy would automatically be eliminated on tomorrow's show.
That caused 16-year-old singer Afareen "Kippy" Nashatafa to jump up and down for joy since he has been called the Iranian Paige Miles.
Producers of Iranian Idol quickly moved to cancel the musical reality show. A spokesperson for the Iranian Broadcasting Station, IBS said that the show will be replaced by reruns of 'The Real Submissive As Hell Housewives of Downtown Tehran.'
