LOS ANGELES - Selena Gomez has announced that she has just purchased the city of Tijuana, Mexico.
When asked what she paid for the Mexican border town Gomez stated that she would rather not say as it was a personal business matter that did not concern anyone except for herself and the mayor of Tijuana Bobo De La Hacienda.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: I called up good old Larry King and he told me that the exact amount that little Selena Gomez paid for Tijuana was $17.8 million, which is 223,730,870 pesos.]
When Selena was asked what she planned to do with the Mexican border city, she smiled and said that she is looking at two different options.
One is that she will turn around and sell it to the Japanese investment firm known as JapInFi.
JapInFi already owns several American landmarks such as The Grand Canyon, New York's Holland Tunnel, and the smallest of the five Great Lakes, Lake Ontario.
Gomez said that her second option would be to completely level the city and build an amusement park with a bilingual theme. The park would be called La Tierra Disney and would feature such well-known cartoon characters such as El Pato Donaldo (Donald Duck), La Rata Mickey (Mickey Mouse), and Blanca Nieve Y Los Siete Enanos (Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs).
