HOLLYWOOD - The Hurt Locker An Iraq war film about an army disposal bomb squad has won this year's Academy Award for Best Picture.
James Cameron's ex-wife Kathyrn Bigelow, directed the Academy Award winning film and has become the first female director to win the Best Director category. Cameron was asked backstage how he felt having been beaten out by his own ex-wife.
Cameron, who was nominated for Best Director for his film Avatar said that it literally made him sick to his stomach when Bigelow's name was announced. He said that luckily the lady in front of him saw what was going on and quickly handed him an empty sandwich bag.
The 58-year-old Bigelow was married to James Cameron from 1989 to 1991. When she divorced him she started dating Al Pacino, but soon left him for Geraldo Rivera, who soon left her for Sally Fields, who left him for Wolf Blitzer, who moved to Dubai and started dating a Dubai pole dancer, Sandra "Tickles" Von Piffinkunder.
SIDENOTE: The film The Hurt Locker is the first Oscar winning motion picture in history to have subtitles in five different languages, Iraqi, Iranian, Icelandic, Indonesian, and Irish.
