image for Katie Couric Cracking Under Pressure? Says Clone Follows Her Everywhere
CBS News At 6:00PM

"I think I'm losing my mind!, stated a very upset Katie Couric to her staff Friday, one of whom passed us a bit of a treat, for a favor once done for him.

Katie Couric of CBS News isn't one to get spooked easily but even her nerves are about to snap with a mysterious stranger following her everywhere she goes.

OK, so she's under a lot of pressure but not many women could reach her spot in her career, so she does have the balls to tackle anyone...apparently, anyone except for the doppelganger.

"The thing was friendly at first, as I looked up after kissing a friend on the cheek a goodbye and there she was, smiling back at me. Wow, I thought, she sure looks a lot like me."

Katie then stated that from then on, the doppelganger followed her everywhere she went.

"Everywhere I go, the doppelganger is there. I cannot live like this," Couric reportedly told police at one stage. "It was friendly at first, but now it has turned evil and gone rogue! GONE ROGUE!! That's it."

But the police checked, and Sarah Palin has been on a book signing tour for over a month.

CBS is refusing to comment on the story except to say that Couric is taking a few days off in the near future.

Several speculate that she now has a professional psychiatrist, whom she told lately in a group session, "I went to a circus just to get away from working so hard, but there she was. Or I think it was her but now she looked like a twisted demon. That was inside a funhouse."

Make Bureau's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
