A big surprise today for the UK's south coast satirist (?) Skoob, when Twilight teen idols, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart - now confirmed as a romantic item - dropped in at his humble abode for a cup of tea, en route to a househunting trip to the nearby Isle of Wight.
"You could have smacked me round the head with a cricket bat and I wouldn't have been more stunned," Skoob told us. "I was just about to feed the wabbits when the doorbell rang, and there on my own doorstep were Rob and Kristen. In the flesh!"
According to the couple's agent, Jonty Dogsegg, they are huge fans of satirical website theSpoof.com and as they were in the vicinity, they decided to drop in on the Spoof's most irritating airhead.
"They were quite a nice young couple actually," Skoob told us later. "They told me that they cracked up over all the stories on the Spoof about them. Especially the nude/naked ones, which were actually not all that far removed from the truth."
We managed to speak with Rob Pattinson as the couple departed, asking him what his opinion was regarding the Spoofer.
"He was okay I guess," Pattinson said, obviously choosing his words carefully. "A little weird maybe, not at all what I expected. When we dropped in there, I didn't expect that Kristen and I would have to make our own tea, or rummage through his cupboards for the biscuits. And what's with all the wabbits? I never saw so many Goddamned wabbits in one place in my life!"
Local man, Martin Shuttlecock was spotted hiding behind a parked van furiously scribbling down notes. With a pencil and a notepad.
More as we get it.
