image for Robert Pattinson, Kristy Stewart Reveal Secret Of The "Twilight" Series
Cameraman: "SURPRISE!!!!"

A major secret on the set of the Twilight movies is something most producers and directors may have never tried, according to two of it's star's, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

"If you noticed the shocked expressions on some of our faces it's because we have just experienced an actual shock while filming", stated Pattinson. "You'll even notice that some of my hair is out of place", he laughed.

Kristen then added that her shocked expression in the last movie, "Twilight: New Moon" was so convincing because she had just had a real shock.

"I've been given compliments even by some pretty mean critics over that one, so it must have went over well. I can't tell because, of course, I was aware of what was really going on."

So what's the big secret?

"It's different for each major scene or from day to day", stated Pattinson. "There are genuine..let's call them 'ambushes' that are hidden around the stage equipment. Nothing really frightening, just something unusual...like looking into a mirror as you go by and seeing someone behind you, who isn't there when you turn around."

"Yeah, nothing that's going to really upset us. We were told at the beginning that these things would happen and we all agreed on it. So when you see amazement, shock or even a sudden cry or scream, it's so real on the movie because THAT'S what has happened."

Apparently so many stage hands know about the props secret now that it's getting around. That gave the 'Go-Ahead' to have the two stars reveal it at a press conference.

"One day, we'll make a list. Some are hilarious in hindsight, but not while they were happening."

"Yeah, like the two big macho men nearly crapping themselves when that head appeared that looked like Ashley."
