The father of Jordy Chandler, the boy who first accused Michael Jackson of sexual molestation in the 1990's, has been found dead.
According to early police reports, the one-time Beverly Hills dentist died in New Jersey yesterday. Of what, no information has been given and may have to await an autopsy report.
In the early 1990s, Chandler came forward to report Jackson to authorities in both Santa Barbara & Los Angeles, charging Michael Jackson with molesting his son, who was then only 13 years old.
In 1994, the Chandlers gave police what they said was proof positive audio-taped evidence alleging abuse by Jackson.
The Chandlers also brought a civil lawsuit against Jackson and demanded a court hearing.
The Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office launched a 13-month probe into the allegations and had already convened a grand jury to investigate the sexual abuse charges.
But the case never went to trial because Jordan received a multi-million dollar civil settlement for "personal injuries arising out of claims of negligence" from the superstar.
Both parties signed a confidentiality agreement, promising not to talk to the press or anyone else about the case.
"I wish the public could have heard those tapes", stated the 13-year-old's brother, Raymond.
In the meantime, while fans have been placing flowers near where Jackson is thought to be buried, a police officer who asked not to be identified stated that someone has been leaving bags of crap.
"Of course, that could be coming from a lot of relatives of the children who were once at the Neverland Ranch."
